Playing from heavy rough (for right handed golfer):

Play the ball further back in the stance |

Weight more on the leftside |

Take a more lofted club than normal |
|
Slightly open club face at address |
|
Grip further down the shaft |
|
Allow for a lower trajectory with more roll |
|
Practice this shot on the golf course when possible |
