Derek Simpson - Advanced PGA Qualified Golf Professional
Derek Simpson turned professional in 1986 and found his true passion for teaching at Gosforth Park Golfing Complex, Northumberland, before moving to The Belfry, West Midlands, prior to the Ryder Cup in 1993, where he now resides as Senior Golf Professional.
Since joining The Belfry, Derek has been fortunate to have observed many of the best international golfers and premier coaches in the world, including Butch Harman (coach to Tiger Woods), David Leadbetter (coach to Nick Faldo) and Pete Cowan (coach to European Ryder Cup Team) to name just a few. Today, Derek utilises these experiences with his own knowledge, skills and expertise to provide first class golfing tuition to golfers of all abilities.
